The Boston Chapter of the Usability Professionals’ Association is a 501c6 nonprofit organization and is a highly active community for persons with individual and professional interests in usability, user experience design, and their many related fields. Membership is free, and we invite you to take advantage of all the benefits membership has to offer. These include access to job listings, networking opportunities, event notifications, collaboration projects, resume-building activities, and more:
We hold eleven monthly meetings annually in a variety of locations throughout the greater Boston area from downtown to Framingham. Regardless of where you live or work, we’re likely to be within reach sometime during the year! Meetings feature lectures, demonstrations, jobs discussions, tours of host companies’ proprietary labs and more! Members are invited to host and present at monthly meetings.
Specialized Saturday workshops given by members provide in-depth half- and full-day tutorials on a variety of topics from research techniques to mobile device design.
This annual event will be held in two locations this year: South Station in the morning and MIT's Stata Center in the afternoon. It offers members the opportunity to design activities and educational experiences that introduce usability, accessibility, and design tenets and techniques to visitors.
